Re-design of UK Prostate Link

In the early part of 2010, we conducted a detailed study of how people use UK Prostate Link, and what they would like to see changed.

You can get the full report here.  In summary, users told us the following:

  • the home page is too cluttered.
  • it is hard to find all of the relevant information.
  • once these barriers are overcome, people find the site very useful, particularly the Information and Your Questions sections.

So we rejigged the design and architecture somewhat.  The key changes are:

  1. A simplified home page, making it easier to get straight to the information
  2. A clearer results listing, showing the exact quality score, instead of the stars
  3. Easier customisation of searches, allowing you to filter your results by country of origin or by the intended.
