Prostate cancer experiences

Two new resources describing peoples' experiences of prostate cancer have been published recently on the web.

Resources such as these are very important in ensuring that everyone's voice is heard in discussions of prostate cancer care.

NHS Choices

In "Darcus Howe: 'My battle with prostate cancer'", the racial equality campaigner describes his own experiences and hopes to raise awareness of the disease.  

Prostate Couples

Prostate Couples contains eleven different personal stories, told as audio voiceovers with a slideshow of images.  Note that you'll need Flash installed to listen to these stories.  A new story will be added every month.

Many other websites contain this kind of personal experiences, from blogs to video interviews.
