Meet the team

UK Prostate Link is the fruit of the labours of many people.  It is the result of a collaboration between charities, government, NHS and private sector agencies who share the goal of making good quality prostate cancer information available to all.

Steering Group

UK Prostate Link is managed by a Steering Group comprising representatives of:

  • The Department of Health
  • Oxford Radcliffe NHS Trust
  • The British Association of Urological Surgeons
  • The Prostate Cancer Charity (chair)
  • Cancer Research UK
  • Macmillan Cancer Support
  • Prostate UK

The Steering Group has ultimate responsibility for approving the methods employed by the provider.

Service provider

The UK Prostate Link website is designed, hosted and maintained by Minervation Ltd, an independent knowledge management consultancy.  Minervation created the Rating Scheme, design and maintain the website and carry out all of the evaluations

Funding

Funding for UK Prostate Link comes from:

  • The Department of Health
  • The Prostate Cancer Charter for Action
  • Takeda UK

Funds are disbursed via The Prostate Cancer Charity.  Takeda has no influence over the content of the website.
